mood: Lunixing music: rammstein....pass on track name
|
ok so my trackball script isn't being ran on xserver start, I've now also lost the launcher for that, however i do appear to have learned the command for now (w00t for xmodmap)
I sorted out my 5.1 surround sound issue, was just a problem with my speaker volumes after all the fuss i made about trying to fucking fix the lack of output (was even considering routing front left and right out of the rear left and right) however I have now found my self stuck with a new issue:
Rhythmbox seems to loose control over my audio drivers, don't know what's causing it, however i was playing my music while playing flash games and the flash animations sounds were suppressed, so it could be something I've done. Anyways as a step around to the issue i tried another music player, it crashed, so I restarted xserver ... now last.fm scrobbler is playing in the background, with out an obvious process handler so i have some music playing while i write this, however i don't know the artist or the track name, just that it's classed under industrial.
ok now rammsteins playing recognized the racing starting beat lol
grr, so tomorow it looks like i've got to look at my script for my track ball, and check my audio drivers again.
I am hoping that the audio issue is just a requirement of complete system restart, however if the issue continues, i may just re-install ubuntu seeing as i know how to fix my minor issues such as cam, msn, and track ball
also - i must check chromes stability through wine...i do sort of miss the little twat when firefox decides to not be able to kill it's self |
