i re-started my old physics 'engine' a while ago
and now i think i should carry on working on it.
what i want to do at the moment is interpret joy pad commands to control my little ship

to do:
Projectile firing
- physics on the projectile
- control element to how many a user can fire
enemy creation
- based off current 'good guy'
- need anti-gravity system
- - maybe booster shots to slow descent
collision detection
- physics for rebound etc.
- side protection (prevent ship from flying off the sides)

  download manager:
ewwwwwwww
should not be done in a web page
why does google do this to us?
i used googles desktop search engine
(i don't do a lot of searching)
and that was based in web format
why....why....do they not know how to make small, explorer style interfaces?

title bar:
none exisitant
i blame mac users
there seems to be a thing where the title bar doesn't exist any more, and i for one don't like it on most programs. Also i like the "file" menu being just under the title bar, however we're losing that to a single button that spans out to everything.
it's not like it doesn't work, however i personally pine for some of the older designs when such things weren't done.
instead we are presented with the tab bar for a title bar, with the classic controls to the right....looking rather ugly

status bar:
only appears when it wants to, which to me breaks up the look of the browser when in maximized view

scrolling:
through a small look on the forums, aparntly google have had alot of problems with this, including allowing downwards scrolling but not upwards. however not having a scroll wheel i have a slightly different problem, i've lost my magic scroller. :( the only way that i even bother to scroll is with the magic scroller now, and they haven't included it.

anyways thats all for now

new feautre notice in chrome. the small resize corner often found in such things as explorer window seems to have gone for a wonder.
now you can resize multi-line input boxes, just by draging the corner

though another thing i've noticed about chrome....the spell checker SUCKS
